WINTER ACCESS

  • Skiing: Les Écuries de Charamillon can be easily reached from the red "Écuries" slope, at the arrival point of the Autannes chairlift or the Arve drag lift.
  • Ski Touring: Join us via the marked ski touring route (not maintained or secured) starting from the village of Le Tour.
    D+: 488 meters – Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes.

    From the refuge, you can access several ski touring and off-piste routes.
  • Snowshoeing: Access is possible from the village of Le Tour (D+: 488 meters –
    1 hour and 30 minutes) or the Charamillon cable car (10 minutes walk).

SUMMER ACCESS

  • Tour du Mont Blanc: Les Écuries de Charamillon is located on the TMB variant "Col de

  • Day Hikes: Col de Balme, Aiguillettes des Posettes, Albert 1er Refuge, Alpages de Balme loop, Croix de Fer, Lac de Catogne, and more.
Inform yourself about mountain conditions! Don't overestimate your abilities, and ensure that the itinerary chosen matches your level (vertical gain, technical difficulty, duration, etc.).
